Price Analysis July 31st, 2025 – BTC, SUI, ETH, XLM, SOL, and BNB

Bitcoin dropped to $116,000 on Wednesday after the Federal Reserve decided to keep the interest rates unchanged. However, lower levels have continued to attract buyers, who have now propelled the coin to $118,390.
Although there are growing expectations among market participants that BTC will rise in August, historical data show that the incoming month has seen the coin post negative performance over the past decade.
Nonetheless, institutional investors have shown no signs of slowing down in the race to buy Bitcoin. Earlier this week, Strategy bought 21,021 coins for $2.4 billion, expanding its BTC treasury to 628,791.
As Bitcoin struggles to cross above vital resistance levels, BNB and Ethereum have been attracting investors’ attention, as evidenced by their massive weekly gains. Glassnode analysts claim that the shift in investor interest could signal the start of the altcoin season.
So, can BNB and Ethereum price rallies cause other altcoins to surge? And if that is the case, what barriers should traders keep an eye on? Let’s take a deeper look at the price charts to find answers.
Bitcoin Price Analysis
Bitcoin’s price has been moving within a very tight range. In most cases, when assets trade in narrow ranges for extended periods, the breakouts are usually massive. That said, if the buyers keep BTC above the 20-day Simple Moving Average of $118,312, chances of a breakout at the $120,100 resistance would increase.
A close above $120,100 would encourage the bulls to maintain momentum, targeting the all-time high of $123,198 and later fuel a rally to $135,300. On the other hand, if Bitcoin bears tug the coin below the $115,300 support, they could sink it to $110,050 or even $107,000.
Ethereum Price Analysis
Ethereum has managed to stay above the $3,743 key resistance level in the past few days. This suggests that traders are not in a hurry to book profits in anticipation of another price rally. If the coin closes above the $3,960 barrier, it could grow to retest $4,095, where bears are expected to mount a solid defence. However, weak selling pressure at that level could allow Ether to rally to $4,300 for the first time since December 2021.
Contrarily, a close below $3,743 would shift the advantage to the bears, who could aim to fuel a drop to the 20-day Simple Moving Average of $3,517, where we expect the bulls to step in to avoid a deep drop toward $3,350.
BNB Price Analysis
Since marking its eighth anniversary last week, BNB has recorded significant gains, rallying to $854, a new all-time high. Increased investor interest could propel the coin further to $900. However, if the bulls let the support at $795 crack, the Binance Coin could decline toward the 20-day Simple Moving Average of $749.
Solana Price Analysis
With Solana priced at $177, it means the support at the 20-day Simple Moving Average of $178.93 has failed to hold. The bears will now attempt to force a move toward the 50-day Simple Moving Average of $163 and later to $140.
If the bulls want to take the driver’s seat, they must thrust and maintain SOL above $178.93. This will allow them to trigger a rally to $208 and then to $239 after overpowering the bears at $220.40.
SUI Price Analysis
SUI touched $4.29 on Sunday and then plummeted below major support levels the following day. It’s now valued at $3.78, according to data from CoinGecko. That price means the bulls have allowed the support at the 20-day Simple Moving Average of $3.84 to collapse, enhancing the prospects of a drop to $3.50.
Meanwhile, if the bulls push and keep SUI above $3.84, a journey to $4.30 could begin. Moreover, a close above that resistance could trigger a new uptrend, with the buyers targeting $5.
Stellar Price Analysis
XLM is valued below the 20-day Simple Moving Average of $0.446, thus boosting bears’ chances of dragging it to the $0.370 support. However, a solid surge above $0.446 could see Stellar rise to $0.528 and later to $0.641.
